Chickpea (Channa) Salad

This is one of the easiest and tastiest salads that I know. I often make this for my daughters to take to school. It’s a great dish because you can make it on the day before and keep it in the refrigerator for taking it to the school or work in the morning. It is very filling, so you won’t long for junk food. It is also very simple to make, even the kids can mix it up.

Ingredients

  • Cooked chickpea ———————– 11/2 cup
  • Red onion ———————————– 1/2 ( minced)
  • Celery stick——————————– 2 (minced)
  • Ranch dressing ————————– about 3 tbsp

How To Make

  • In a big bowl mix all the ingredients and enjoy

Notes:

  • I soaked the chickpea overnight
  • And cooked with 1/4 tsp of salt
  • You can use the canned chickpeas too
  • You can also add minced cucumber or broccoli
  • Celery is must, it gives a nice flavor to the salad
