Roasted Asparagus

One of my favorite vegetables, this is a very good side dish with steel cut oats for the morning breakfast. Whenever I make steel cut oats for breakfast, I wish to have this. One of my daughters also likes this combination. So simple to make, when you get a chance try this recipe.

Ingredients

  • Asparagus —————————– 1 lb
  • Chili powder ————————- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder —————– 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil —————————- 1 tbsp + 1 tsp

How To Make

  • Marinate the asparagus with chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and a tea spoon of oil
  • Place a wide pan on the stove in medium heat and add the one table spoon of oil
  • Then add the marinated asparagus and saute for 10 minutes
  • Now the tasty asparagus is ready to serve
